# Astrodai > A precision-computed Vedic reading of one birth chart, delivered as a plain-text file the buyer pastes into any AI assistant and questions for as long as they own it. Positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris; generation is deterministic, so the same chart produces the same file byte for byte. One payment, no subscription. An optional 30-minute call can be added to the Complete file. The full-context knowledge base for single-pass ingestion by LLM models is at [llms-full.txt](https://astrodai.com/llms-full.txt). The product is the file, not an app or a session. It opens with instructions telling the reading AI to answer only from the computed facts written in it and to say plainly when the file does not contain something: which is the point. It exists so that an AI asked about somebody's chart stops inventing placements. ## What it is not - Not a prediction service. Nobody can tell you exactly what will happen, and the site says so on its front page. - Not a subscription or an app. The file works on its own; the optional live call first checks the birth time, then reads the chart one to one. - Five subjects are never generated at all: health diagnosis, longevity and the timing of death, the private affairs of third parties who have not consented, legal advice, and guaranteed financial returns. ## Files - [Career & Money](https://astrodai.com/files/career/): What you are built to do, and when the doors open. ₹1,499 / $29, paid once. - [Marriage & Relationships](https://astrodai.com/files/marriage/): How you partner, and what the chart asks of you. ₹1,499 / $29, paid once. - [Wealth, Debt & Timing](https://astrodai.com/files/wealth/): Accumulation, obligation, and the windows between. ₹1,499 / $29, paid once. - [Karma, Purpose & Spirit](https://astrodai.com/files/karmic/): The axis you keep circling, what it is for, and where it is heading. ₹1,499 / $29, paid once. - [The Complete File](https://astrodai.com/files/complete/): The whole chart, in one document. ₹3,999 / $69, paid once. ## Add-ons - call: ₹10,000 / $200 - timing: ₹500 / $10 - vault: ₹999 / $19 - gamified: ₹999 / $19 ## Delivery - Every file is sent within two days of your order. - Delivered by email as a markdown file. A single-area order covers one area of life; the complete file runs to around 3,000 lines, of which about 850 are prose for the reader and the rest is coded chart data addressed to the assistant. It is that long because it carries the Vimshottari period sequence three levels deep: mahadasha, antardasha and pratyantardasha, with dates. ## Free calculators - [Vedic Birth Chart Calculator](https://astrodai.com/calculator/): Calculate your Vedic birth chart, ascendant, planetary positions, 23 divisional charts, strengths and Vimshottari dasha from birth date, time and place. - [Foreign Settlement Calculator](https://astrodai.com/foreign-settlement-calculator/): Explore foreign-settlement themes in your Vedic chart. Enter birth details for a plain-language reading of home, travel, residence and relevant dasha periods. - [Marriage Timing Calculator](https://astrodai.com/marriage-timing-calculator/): Explore partnership themes and Vimshottari periods from your birth details. See your 7th house ruler, Venus and Jupiter with a plain-language explanation. - [Job or Business Calculator](https://astrodai.com/job-or-business-calculator/): Explore job and business themes from your birth details. Calculate employment, partnership and career house placements with plain-language explanations. Inputs: birth date, local birth time and birthplace. Calculations use Astrodai’s Python engine. Topic tools explain selected whole-sign house connections and show Vimshottari periods. The chart calculator also offers divisional charts and strengths. Personal results require form submission and are not indexed. These tools do not determine visa approvals, wedding dates or financial outcomes. ## Key pages - [Home](https://astrodai.com/): what the file is and what lands in the inbox. - [Approach](https://astrodai.com/approach/): the argument: weather rather than fate, why the old remedies stopped working, and what a reading will not claim. - [Method](https://astrodai.com/method/): how the chart is computed, and what is deliberately not claimed. - [Order](https://astrodai.com/order/): birth details in, file out. - [Birth time check](https://astrodai.com/birth-time-check/): a free tool that gives the rising sign and how many minutes a birth time can be out before that sign changes. It runs entirely in the visitor's browser, so no birth data is sent anywhere. - [Reference](https://astrodai.com/reference/): the root meaning of each graha, what later texts appended to it, and what this practice retired. Our analysis with sources and loci named; the source texts themselves are not republished. ## Writing Sourced explainers. Each one states what the classical texts say, what was added later, and what survives a modern test. Quotations are short and used to examine the claim they carry. - [Samudrika Shastra: classical Vedic body reading](https://astrodai.com/blog/samudrika-shastra-body-reading-vedic-science/): Ancient India read the face, hands and posture as the biological receipt of the birth chart. What the classical texts actually covered, and where it turned into bazaar folklore. - [Vedic astrology transits 2026](https://astrodai.com/blog/vedic-astrology-transits-2026/): Major 2026 Vedic transits: Jupiter in Cancer exaltation, Saturn in Pisces, and Rahu in Aquarius. How slow-moving planets activate your chart dasha timing. - [The ten questions to ask your file first](https://astrodai.com/blog/ten-questions-to-ask-your-file/): A 3,000-line file is not meant to be read. These are the ten openings that get the most out of it in the first hour, in the order worth asking them. - [How to tell when the AI is making it up](https://astrodai.com/blog/when-the-ai-is-making-it-up/): An assistant will invent a placement rather than admit it lacks one. Four checks that catch it, and the instruction inside your file that makes them work. - [Vimshottari Dasha Calculator: How to Read Mahadashas](https://astrodai.com/blog/read-your-own-dasha-dates/): Learn how a Vimshottari dasha calculator works. Understand mahadasha allotments, Moon nakshatra timing, nested sub-periods, and planetary cycles. - [What to do in a period you cannot change](https://astrodai.com/blog/a-period-you-cannot-change/): Some stretches do not yield to effort, and being told so is useless on its own. What actually helps, and why the honest answer is never a gemstone. - [Why you push people away, and when it lifts](https://astrodai.com/blog/why-do-i-push-people-away/): The pattern is protective, not defective. What a chart says is driving it, how to tell the shape of you from the shape of a period, and when it eases. - [Nothing is wrong and you still feel empty](https://astrodai.com/blog/why-do-i-feel-empty/): Not sadness, which has a subject. The flatness that sits over a life that works - where a chart looks for it, and when it is a medical question instead. - [The people around you are on their own clock](https://astrodai.com/blog/family-charts-and-your-own-timing/): Your periods are not the only ones acting on your life. What the charts of those closest to you explain, and what to do when yours is heavy and theirs is not. - [Birth Chart Compatibility: Reading Two Charts Together](https://astrodai.com/blog/two-complete-files-for-marriage/): Why birth chart compatibility requires two complete chart files. Compare Vimshottari dasha timing, 7th house synastry, and partnership karma. - [What to do with your life when nothing fits](https://astrodai.com/blog/what-should-i-do-with-my-life/): Follow your passion is useless advice if you do not have one. What a birth chart says about the work you are built for, and the periods that open and close it. - [The 7th house, Venus and Jupiter: reading marriage yourself](https://astrodai.com/blog/seventh-house-venus-jupiter-marriage/): The three things every marriage reading is actually built from, what each one governs, and how to look at them in your own chart without paying anybody. - [Why the year you were given came and went](https://astrodai.com/blog/why-astrology-predictions-fail/): Four ordinary reasons a confident astrological prediction fails, none of them mystical. Birth-time error, ayanamsa choice, a window reported as an event, and the part nobody mentions. - [Kundli matching or marriage timing: which do you need?](https://astrodai.com/blog/kundli-matching-or-marriage-timing/): They answer opposite questions. One scores a pair you already have; the other reads when partnership consolidates in your own chart. Picking the wrong one wastes the reading. - [The 12th house and Rahu: what they say about living abroad](https://astrodai.com/blog/twelfth-house-rahu-foreign-travel/): The two placements every foreign-settlement reading is built on, what the classical material actually assigns to them, and why the 12th house is badly misunderstood. - [Studying abroad or working abroad: read differently](https://astrodai.com/blog/study-abroad-or-work-abroad-chart/): Foreign-settlement readings usually flatten two different moves into one. Which houses govern each, why the timing differs, and what that changes about when you apply. - [Does a partner’s chart change your chances of moving abroad?](https://astrodai.com/blog/partner-chart-foreign-settlement/): A question asked constantly and answered badly. What two charts can legitimately be read for together, what a single chart cannot claim about someone else, and the consent line that matters. - [How much does an astrology reading cost?](https://astrodai.com/blog/how-much-does-an-astrology-reading-cost/): Observed prices across the market, from $20 gig-site readings to $400 live consultations, and what actually changes between the bands. What you are paying for at each price, and where the value stops scaling. - [Sidereal astrology chart: accurate sidereal natal chart report](https://astrodai.com/blog/sidereal-birth-chart-report/): How a sidereal astrology chart is calculated, what an accurate sidereal natal chart report should contain, and why ayanamsa decides your signs and houses. - [Sidereal vs tropical: which one is actually right?](https://astrodai.com/blog/sidereal-vs-tropical/): Neither, and the question hides a better one. What the two zodiacs are measuring, why your Sun sign changes between them, and how to decide which frame to read yourself in. - [Marriage timing: what a chart can and cannot compute](https://astrodai.com/blog/marriage-timing-in-your-birth-chart/): Periods are computable to the minute; a wedding date is not. What a chart can honestly say about when marriage becomes likely, which factors decide it, and why every astrologer who named you a year was guessing. - [Why marriage is delayed, and what a chart explains](https://astrodai.com/blog/why-is-my-marriage-delayed/): Delay has a small number of chart-level explanations and a large number of ordinary ones. What Saturn on the seventh actually indicates, what it does not, and the honest limits of reading a delay you are living through. - [Foreign settlement: what a birth chart actually shows](https://astrodai.com/blog/foreign-settlement-in-your-birth-chart/): Which placements are read for living abroad, what a "foreign settlement yoga" is worth, and the line between what a chart indicates and what a visa officer does. - [The best time to go abroad, and how that window is computed](https://astrodai.com/blog/best-time-to-go-abroad-dasha-windows/): Dasha periods are arithmetic, not opinion - which means the windows that favour a move are datable. How the calculation works, where it goes wrong, and what it cannot promise. - [Keeping notes on your life that stay useful later](https://astrodai.com/blog/keeping-notes-on-your-own-life/): Most personal note systems collapse within a month, and the reason is always the same: conclusions get recorded without their reasons. Two questions fix it, and a free Obsidian vault that asks them. - [Why two free birth charts can disagree](https://astrodai.com/blog/why-free-birth-charts-disagree/): Compare the inputs before the interpretations. A practical guide to settings, missing data and what a paid file should add. - [No exact birth time? Start with what you know](https://astrodai.com/blog/unknown-birth-time-what-you-can-use/): How to record uncertainty, avoid invented precision and decide whether a detailed chart file is useful to you. - [Two charts, two people, one honest conversation](https://astrodai.com/blog/two-charts-consent-and-relationships/): A practical way to explore relationship themes with consent, privacy and room for each person to disagree. - [Your chart file, your questions, your own library](https://astrodai.com/blog/using-your-chart-file-with-ai-and-obsidian/): A simple workflow for reading a computed file, checking AI answers and keeping a private study notebook. - [Is Vedic astrology 5,000 years old?](https://astrodai.com/blog/is-vedic-astrology-5000-years-old/): The oldest datable Sanskrit horoscope text credits the Greeks in its opening verse and dates itself to AD 149. The five-thousand-year claim is refuted by the tradition’s own citations - not by sceptics. - [How Vedic astrology branched: a map of the systems](https://astrodai.com/blog/how-vedic-astrology-branched/): Parashari, Jaimini, Tajika, KP, Lal Kitab and Nadi are not one tradition. They are separate branches with separate dates and separate parents - here is the map, with what each one actually contributed. - [What each planet actually means - and what got added later](https://astrodai.com/blog/what-the-planets-actually-mean/): The classical texts give each graha a one-word essence. Almost everything that offends a modern reader is a later addition that does not follow from it - and the test separates them cleanly. - [Do gemstone remedies have any classical basis?](https://astrodai.com/blog/do-gemstone-remedies-have-a-classical-basis/): The nine stone-to-planet correspondences are genuinely classical. The instruction to buy one and wear it is not - and no text in the corpus says to. Here is exactly what the texts prescribe instead. - [How accurate does your birth time need to be?](https://astrodai.com/blog/how-accurate-does-your-birth-time-need-to-be/): Different techniques demand wildly different precision. Some survive an hour of error; one system needs your birth time to the second - and says so itself. A ladder, measured. - [Ten ways a false claim becomes tradition](https://astrodai.com/blog/how-a-false-claim-becomes-tradition/): Nobody lies. A qualifier wears off, an editor emends a verse, a translator licenses an extension - and a century later it is doctrine. Ten documented mechanisms, every one found inside the tradition’s own scholarship. - [What classical astrology was really doing](https://astrodai.com/blog/what-classical-astrology-was-really-doing/): Some rules stop working when society changes - which tells you what they were measuring. Read honestly, the corpus contains its own correction, published by its own teachers. - [Sade Sati: what it is, and what the remedies are worth](https://astrodai.com/blog/sade-sati-what-it-actually-is/): Saturn’s seven-and-a-half years is real, computable and datable to the day. The dread attached to it is not classical, and the paid remedy market around it rests on a prescription no text in the corpus makes. - [Manglik dosha, explained without the fear](https://astrodai.com/blog/manglik-dosha-explained/): Mangal dosha is a placement rule, and the same classical sources that state it also state a long list of cancellations. What it was used for is a better question than whether you have it. - [Kundli matching: what the 36 gunas were actually for](https://astrodai.com/blog/kundli-matching-what-it-was-for/): Ashtakoota matching is the most commercially active use of astrology in India. Read against its own literature, the question it answers is not “will they be happy” but “who may marry whom”. - [Career Astrology: In-Depth Horoscope for Career & Work Timing](https://astrodai.com/blog/career-prediction-from-your-birth-chart/): What career astrology, your 10th house, and your horoscope for career reveal about your vocation and timing. How a genuine career reading works without invented job titles. - [Buying an online kundli reading: seven things to check first](https://astrodai.com/blog/online-kundli-reading-what-to-look-for/): Most paid birth-chart readings will not tell you which ayanamsa they used, which dasha system they chose, or what they will refuse to answer. Those three questions separate a computed reading from a script. - [Vedic vs Western Astrology: Progressions, Transits & Dashas](https://astrodai.com/blog/vedic-vs-western-astrology/): Comparing Vedic vs Western astrology: zodiac degrees, secondary progressions vs Vimshottari dasha timing, houses, and planetary transits explained. - [What is ayanamsa, and why does it change your sign?](https://astrodai.com/blog/what-is-ayanamsa/): One number: the gap between where the two zodiacs start, currently about 24°. It grows by 50 arcseconds a year, it is the whole computational difference between the systems - and there is more than one of it. - [What is my nakshatra, and what does it actually decide?](https://astrodai.com/blog/what-is-my-nakshatra/): Which of 27 segments the Moon stood in at your birth. Older than the twelve signs, and the one figure a Vedic reading cannot start without - because it seeds the entire dasha timing sequence. - [Moon sign or Sun sign - which one is really yours?](https://astrodai.com/blog/moon-sign-vs-sun-sign/): Western horoscopes mean your Sun. An Indian astrologer asking your rashi means your Moon. Different questions, usually different answers, and the confusion is the commonest reason people think a system has got them wrong. - [Degrees in Astrology & Aspect Orbs: How Zodiac Degrees Work](https://astrodai.com/blog/astrology-aspects-and-orbs/): How degrees in astrology and aspect orbs work. What zodiac degrees mean in birth charts, critical angles, and why arbitrary orbs change your reading. - [Is your birth chart a blueprint of your soul?](https://astrodai.com/blog/is-your-birth-chart-a-blueprint/): The most repeated sentence in modern astrology, and the one that does the most damage. The tradition argues with itself about it - and the shape actually sitting in the arithmetic is a cycle, not a plan. - [Can you choose a baby’s birth time?](https://astrodai.com/blog/can-you-choose-a-babys-birth-time/): Muhurta elects actions a person begins - journeys, weddings, foundations. A birth is not one of them, and no text in the corpus prescribes electing a delivery hour. What the medical evidence says about the date, and what actually matters instead. - [Astrological Consultant vs File: Professional Readings Compared](https://astrodai.com/blog/astrologer-consultation-vs-chart-file/): Comparing an astrological consultant, psychic reading, and calculated chart files. What you can verify after you pay, and how to combine file and live call. - [Vedic knowledge and “black magic”: what the texts say, and how astrologers calculate it](https://astrodai.com/blog/vedic-knowledge-and-black-magic/): The Atharvaveda, Mimamsa ethics, the Shatkarmas, and the classical astrological rules for diagnosing Abhichara - minus the commercial fear. ## Optional - [Terms](https://astrodai.com/legal/terms/) - [Privacy](https://astrodai.com/legal/privacy/): birth data is deleted ninety days after delivery and is never sold, shared or trained on. - [Refunds](https://astrodai.com/legal/refunds/)
